Ofsted Inspection Report

Ofsted Inspection February 2020

It is our pleasure share our Ofsted report with you. We are absolutely delighted with the good judgment and, in particular the recognition of outstanding personal development opportunities for all children here at Christ Church Primary.

The inspection report highlights a wealth of strengths across all areas:

‘This well -led school serves it’s community well’.

‘Pastoral support is excellent’

‘Leaders are ambitious for everyone to do well in all aspects of school life’

‘There is great team spirit and a huge sense of loyalty to the school from pupils and staff’

‘English and maths are planned well and taught well every day’

‘PE and sport is excellent’

‘The school is full of books and the staff are well trained in the teaching of reading’

‘There are many opportunities beyond the classroom. Staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone is involved in something’

‘The early years classes are joyful places’

Since the previous inspection in 2013, the Ofsted framework and how schools are judged has changed considerably. The inspectors, in their summing up, sent out a strong message of ‘under the new Ofsted framework, this inspection is a real success story’.

Our school team has maintained a relentless focus on its core business of learning, creating well rounded young citizens with the knowledge, skills and attributes to able to contribute to society, and we are delighted that our inspection report highlights this. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the whole school community for all of their ongoing hard work to secure such a good judgement.
