Ofsted Inspection Report
Please find below our latest Ofsted report. We are pleased that Ofsted confirmed that safeguarding is effective, stating that leaders have “established an open culture in which safeguarding is everyone's responsibility… As a result, pupils are made safer and feel safe.” This is a vital foundation for everything we do, and we are proud that inspectors recognised this so clearly.
Inspectors also identified several areas of strong practice across the school:
Pupils feel proud to belong to our school. They are greeted warmly each day and “feel valued” within our caring, welcoming environment. Bullying is rare, and pupils understand how their actions affect others.
Inclusion is a significant strength. Staff identify pupils’ needs “quickly and accurately” and work closely with families and professionals to ensure the right support is in place. This means pupils “feel safe, valued and part of the school community.”
Personal development is well designed and impactful. Pupils learn to reflect, respect others, understand right from wrong, and think carefully about ethical issues. They benefit from a rich programme of cultural, creative and community experiences.
Pastoral support is strong. Pupils “trust staff and know how to access support.” Leadership roles such as digital leaders and anti‑bullying ambassadors help pupils develop responsibility and confidence.
Children in the Early Years settle well and feel secure. Inspectors recognised that staff “establish clear routines and create a calm, predictable environment. This helps children settle well.” This is a strong foundation for their learning and wellbeing.
Music is a standout strength. Inspectors noted that “music is prioritised” and that pupils take part in a wide range of musical activities that build confidence and enjoyment.
Pupils are well prepared for life in modern Britain, showing respect, responsibility and an understanding of diversity and democracy.
