Week beginning 03.11.25

This week we have been learning all about colour and light. We have celebrated the festival of light, Diwali and why we celebrate bonfire night.

This week we would like you to go on a walk early evening if possible, and see if you can see any houses with twinkly lights celebrating Diwali.

If you visit any bonfires or see any fireworks see if you can draw or take a photo and put it in your Magic Moments book so we can share them in class and celebrate together! 

Phonics

This week in Phonics we have been learning in our new literacy teams. These are the Ladybirds, Bumblebees and Dragonflies.

When Mrs Perrins completed the reading assessments, lots of children still need practise with letters b, d, j, i, and l. The links are on the phonics star at the top of the page, so you can practice at home! 😊

Remember

Children on Monday 10th November to wear Odd Socks for Anti Bullying Week.

Friday 14th November is mufti day for Children In Need, so children can wear their own clothes.
