Purple

Dear Parent and Carers, 

Your child is currently reading purple books. This means they can read all 25 set 1 sounds and special friends. They now need to practise the first 6 Set 2 sounds (ay, ee, igh, ow, oo, oo) 

Your child will come home with a purple book they have been practising in class and a book bag book which is new to them. These can be practised at home. Encouraging your child to read 4/5 words speedily will help them progress from purple.
