Home Learning
This week in nursery, in maths we have been learning all about spheres and circles. We have been drawing around circles, finding circles in our environment, printing with circles and exploring what happened when we placed a circle and a sphere down a ramp.
For your home learning this week, we would like you to go on a circle hunt around your home or outdoors. You may want to take photographs of your circular objects or draw them in your Magic Moment books.

Lots of you have loved dancing to this song during our dance alarm this week! Can you show your grown ups our moves!
We have been moving to Scarecrow, Scarecrow, and following the instructions.

Library Sessions
Every Monday your child will visit the library in nursery to choose a new library book. It's important that they return the book from the previous week to enable them to choose a new one.
On the first day, read the book to your child and let them enjoy the sotry.
On the following days, you can begin to ask them some questions as you share the book together.
- What can you see in the picture?
- What will happen next?
- How is the character feeling?
You can also encourage them to join in with the parts they know.
Your child can draw a picture or engage in an activity linked to the story for example make a Gingerbread Man, build a house for the Three Little Pigs, try some porridge like the Three Bears, make a trap for the Evil Pea! You can share what they have done in their Magic Moments book and staff will make sure your child has time to share this with us in nursery.
