Welcome from Mrs S. Riley, headteacher

Welcome to Christ Church Primary School. I feel privileged to be part of this happy, lively and highly successful school. We are a large school with a nursery unit, in the heart of Coseley with children age three to eleven years.

We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we give to everyone and the high expectations we have for all - children and adults. The energy for living and learning together here at Christ Church Primary is immense, it is an inspirational place in which to learn and amazing things happen every day!

Our school motto is 'Dream it, believe it, achieve it!' This is, along with our core values of respect, kindness, truth and forgiveness, are at the heart of everything we do; we aim to promote education of the highest quality and daily life in our school ensures that children have life in all its fullness.

We believe that each person in all their unique difference should be able to thrive, being the best they can be and reach their full potential within the eyes of God. We want each and every one, children and adults, to grow academically, personally and spiritually whist in our care and we seek to motivate everyone to reach for the stars!

Our outstanding teaching team is highly committed to creating a learning environment where pupils are able to excel; one that is stimulating, exciting and inclusive. Every day they rigorously plan and teach high quality learning experiences for all our children. Teachers continually reflect on the way they teach, making improvements through the use of research and learning from others.

Through a close partnership with governors, parents, carers and the wider community, we hope all children will reach their full potential and enjoy their time here. Our close relationship with Christ Church supports the school as we provide opportunities for pupils to grow both personally and spiritually. Our pupils are encouraged to be responsible, reflective and thoughtful citizens who care about their local community and the wider world.
