Year 6

Welcome to Year 6!

Meet the Year 6 teachers

Miss Jeavons

Hi there new Shakespearians! My name is Miss Jeavons and I am Phase Three Team Leader and one of your teachers in Shakespeare next year. Some of you may know me already from teaching in your Year 5 classroom, but here’s a little bit about me that you may not know…

I absolutely love to read lots of books so if you have any recommendations of books you have enjoyed reading, then please let me know. I have been loving reading Wonder, A Monster Calls and Rooftoppers recently.  You may have heard me talk about my love of Harry Potter before, so expect to hear a lot more about it next year as I am a HUGE fan. I cannot wait to meet you all!

Miss Radford

Hello wonderful new members of the Shakespeare team! My name is Miss. Radford, and I am going to be one of your teachers in Shakespeare. Here’s a little bit of information about me: Whatever the weather I really enjoy getting outside as much as possible as I love learning more about the world. I really enjoy reading a variety of genres (particularly crime and historical fiction), as well as Harry Potter (of course!).  I am so excited to meet you all soon and get to know all about you!

Mrs Cook

Hello to all new Dickens team members! My name is Mrs Cook and I am the Year 6 Dickens class teacher for next year.  Read on to find out more about me… My favourite subjects are art, as I love to be creative, and English, as I love to read. I also love PE and like to keep myself fit and healthy running through our local park with Milo who sets quite a pace!  I’m really looking forward to meeting you all in September; we are going to have a fabulous year!

Miss Grant

Hello lovely Wordsworthians!! I’m Miss Grant and I can’t wait until we are together as the Wordsworth team!  I love stories, all stories!  I wonder what your favourite story at the moment is? I would love to hear all about it in September.  I mustn’t forget to tell you about Kenneth!   He’s the adorable Wordsworth Wombat who will be our class mascot throughout the year and he (and I) can’t wait to meet you all for what I hope will be your best year yet!
