Residential Visits 2020
Edgmond Hall (year 2)
This visit was cancelled at the start of school closure. Edgmond Hall is run by Sandwell Council and we are delighted to tell you that they are offering a full refund for all places booked. All families will be given a full refund of what has been paid via cheque.
PGL (year 5&6)
This morning, we have received written confirmation from PGL that our visit is officially cancelled and we are now in a position to update you on the procedure for refunds.
Thank you for your patience whilst we are making all necessary arrangements with the company. PGL is a national tour operator with stringent refund policies in place and, despite our efforts, will only refund a small amount of what has been paid in.
We realise that this money has been saved and paid in good faith and we do not want families to suffer as a result of the cancellation. Therefore, I am pleased to tell you that the governors have agreed to use school funds so that all families will have a full refund of the monies they have paid in for this visit.
All families will receive a school cheque for the full amount they have paid before the end of this summer term. As you can imagine, there are many cheques to write out as we had over eighty pupils who were due to attend either Edgmond Hall or PGL; we are currently in the process of trying to order new school fund cheque books from the bank but, as our branch is currently closed, there is a delay. As soon as we have received the cheque books, we will of course issue the refunds to all parents.
