Your child will be bringing home a library book each week.  Please take time to share this book with your child.  Read this book several times so that they can become familiar with it.

Ask them to talk about what is happening in the story.

Can they predict what might happen next?

Who was their favourite character?

What was their favourite part of the story?

Can they draw or make something related to the story such as a Gingerbread Man or a house for the Three Little Pigs?

We will send home a “wow” bubble each week for you to tell us how they responded to the book, they took home.  The children could bring in a photograph with their “wow” bubble or draw a picture if they would like to.  We will celebrate these in nursery.
