Covid 19 arrangements for Breakfast and After School provision
Autumn Term 2020
We will be running a limited breakfast and after school activity service for the first half of the autumn term. This provision will be essential ‘childcare’ for parents who need it. Due to Covid19 restrictions, places will be limited, must be booked in advance via the school office and paid for in full using the School Money system.
Breakfast ‘childcare’ activities will be in the school hall; after school ‘childcare’ activities will use the hall and the playground, weather permitting. Children will be allocated a mixed group with children from their own year group and other year groups. Shared resources and certain activities will be limited to help reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission.
All children attending this provision will be expected to adhere to our school measures to minimise coronavirus risk, including restricted access around school, washing hands and minimising contact with others.
Charges are as follows:
Breakfast club (8:00am - 9:45am) £2:00
After School club (3.15pm - 4.30pm) £2.50

Before school and after school activities
Through our before and after school activities programme we offer a wealth of exciting and often brand new experiences which broaden horizons and open doors of opportunity, hope and aspiration for all children, regardless of their circumstance. Activities are led by our own very talented staff team, they are designed to be fun and cater for a wide variety of interests. We want to offer the scope for each and every child to find a passion, develop a talent, spark an interest or simply find pleasure in doing an activity with others. Before and after school activities are a fantastic way of achieving this and we are excited to offer a wide range of activities from singing and drama, arts and crafts, sports etc.
Participation in before and after school activities:
- Enables children to sample and enjoy a range of activities and pursuits that will help them choose leisure activities for adult life
- Enables children to experience activities that they may not otherwise encounter, and acquire and develop new and existing skills
- Helps build confidence, resilience, well-being and creativity
- Encourages children to develop friendships between age groups and work together co-operatively
Breakfast activities start at 8.00am and after school activities run from 3.15 - 4.30pm. There is also an optional 'chill out' session from 4.30 - 5.30pm for those parents who are not able to collect their child at 4.30pm.
Please ask in the office for further details and charges. Please see the policies tab for the full Before and After School Activities policy.
